Help me with gearing up please

I haven't raided at all this expansion and i'm looking to get back into it. Hit 90 back in august and I haven't played since then. I'm not sure exactly where to start? I'm use to doing the typical 5 mans and then get valor/jp for vendor gear and then LFR/ pug raids to gear up. But i'm a little confused on how to gear up this expansion with all the rep requirements and so on...

Do the solo scenario on Isle of Thunder. You'll get tons of coins to waste in t14 LFR to help you gear. That's how alts gear up nowadays.

PvP gear is helpful for reaching the item level requirements for LFR. The PvP stats don't count against the other stats anymore, so you aren't gimping yourself by using it. Also, don't forget about crafted gear if you have the right professions or a lot of gold.

If you have a lot of time on your hands, do the 5.1 and 5.2 dailies to get access to that valor gear. Other than that, just hope for good luck with LFR drops.
