Top 0.1%, however that doesn't account for the main difference between middle and lower class. Debt. I may make more, but I dont actually have more other then my house for which I have a mortgage.

Wow I'm in the top 0.05% I never expected that... However it's all a scheme to get you to donate to oh so poor starving africans/asians/whoever else is poor and starving, like it's somehow my fault they're poor. I'd donate though, if I knew my money would be spent on birth control, I'd actually be helping them a lot more than by just sending them some more food.

I make 38k a year, and I was in the top .56 % of the world. Considering in USA, that's not even that much money; the gap between someone at my level and the top 1% of America is just as bad if not worse.

It's far worse. That web page is a bad metric since it doesn't take cost of living into account. What matters, is what is left at the end of the month. For most of us in the US, that figure is zero or less.
