what's more efficient? Archeology

Heya,

working towards the Vial of the Sands recipe (still don't have it), and was wondering what's faster:

1.) Do Pandaria Archeology, turn in artifacts for Tolvir fragments, and go from there
2.) Do Kalimdor Archeology, and just keep hoping for Tolvir spawns.

Number 1 with Mantid Artifact Sonic Locator (wowhead: item=95509)
you only geht spawns in Dread Wastes and Townlong Steppes
i find it insanely easy to farm Tolvir fragments that way

quickly got exalted with Lorewalkers, got the Mantid, and now doing the relog trick to farm Uldum <3 going really fast atm

The Mantid Artifact Sonic Locator also shuffles your pandaria digsites when you log as well, which is what led me to check the comments there. I figured it was related. The Kalimdor part is weird.

Huh, interesting. According to those comments you can also port to IoT and then port back and the sites will be localized/randomized as well.

I've actually noticed it upon joining and leaving LFR as well. Was doing arch waiting for LFR queue, joined the LFR while floating over a digsite. Upon leaving it, the digsite was no longer there.
