    New Monitor

Looking into getting a new monitor to replace my current HP 2210i, which has served me very well, but I have a few dead pixels now, so its time to demote it to my 2nd monitor.

Anyone have any recommendations? Price limit of £200.00, I could go more, but my boss is buying this as thank you, so I aint pushing it

One of the most well-recieved IPS monitors, got serveral friends aswell as forum members who love theirs.

Dell U2412M With shipping you'll be just over £200
    Dell U2312HM £153 + shipping

Cheaper alternative, similar internals as the Dell U2312HM just no height adjustment and slightly lower performance but also cheaper:

LG IPS237L-BN £133 free delivery (check stock)

Been looking at the ASUS VG278HE

Think I might go for this
I forgot to mention, I work in IT, so I get equipment at a heavily discounted price.

    1920x1080 at 27"? :x

I'd go with the first one Notarget linked.

    1920x1080 on a 27" is a bad idea.

Not really worth getting a 144Hz monitor unless you play FPS games 80% of the time.

I do spend a chunk of my time playing FPS

Yeh I am torn about the whole resolution thing, I have seen mixed results with regards to that res on a screen that size.

    Humph, very undecided
