    Gaming laptop roughly £1000 budget

As the title says, I have roughly £1000 to spend on a new laptop, preferably for gaming. I have a desktop for at home, but want a laptop for when I travel. Any reccomendations for a decent powerful machine on this kind of budget?

For a grand, you're going to get either:

    1) A fantastic processor with a gDDR3 GPU; or
    2) a gDDR5 GPU with a shitty processor.

However, fortunately for you, this is on clearance at £924.00 without an OS.

EDIT: with an OS, it comes to £1020 for Win7 HP bundled - you could probably buy cheaper elsewhere (the OS, not the notebook).

Yeah that looks awesome, Might just switch out the current HDD for an SSD and that would be a decent bit of kit i recon.
