    502 Suen-Wo or 496 Lo'shan + 502 Lei Shen OH?

Hello everyone, first post here. I thought of posting this on the battle.net forums but they're under maintenance and I figured this community would be more knowledgable.

Recently, I ran LFR and I happen to get Lei-Shen's Orb of Command. I was thinking of pairing it with with the 496 Lo'shan, Terror Incarnate with legendary meta gem + prismatic socket. Currently I'm running with the 502 Suen-Wo staff.

Which would be better? I ran my toon through simcraft, setting the fight to "HecticAddCleave" and number of targets to 2. Here are my stat weights:

    Int - 6.26
    SP - 5.14
    Hit - 5.71
    Crit - 2.38
    Haste - 2.04
    Mastery - 3.63

I'm a Mass Communications student and naturally my skill in numbers is a bit lacking... if you could do the math for me it would be awesome!

Looks like the intellect differential alone is enough to make the MH/OH better.

    Int - 6.26 x 1594 = 9978.44
    SP - 5.14 x 7410 = 38087.4
    Hit - 5.71
    Crit - 2.38
    Haste - 2.04 x 909 = 1854.36
    Mastery - 3.63 x 693 = 2515.59

    52,435.79

    MH/OH
    Int - 6.26 x 2209 = 13828.34
    SP - 5.14 x 7007 = 36015.98
    Hit - 5.71
    Crit - 2.38 x 503 = 1197.14
    Haste - 2.04 x 334 = 681.36
    Mastery - 3.63 x 711 = 2580.93

Oh my, thank you so much! Does this also account for the 1% sword expertise for humans as well?

No it doesn't, but that's just 340 hit rating, so add 5.71*340 to the MH/OH total and you have it considered.

Actually, it isn't 340*5.71, it is 340*crit/haste/mastery value (depends which secondary stat will be the most valuable).

Oh, alright! I was about to ask you if you could show me until I re-read what you meant... thank you for your reply

Okay, disregard my reply for to Filth the Warlock.

Can you show me how this works? I'm not quite sure what you mean here... (numbers don't quite paint a picture in my head so I'm having a hard time thinking about it)

If you are hit capped (like you should be), extra 1% hit/exp won't be a dps increase unless you reforge some hit into other secondary stats. And then that extra hit will be converted into crit, haste or mastery and its value won't be as high as hit's simulated value.

Ah I get what you mean now. So you're saying that the 340 rating should be multiplied by Mastery's value?

Yes sorry I did not think about the Racial at all. I also reforged the crit to mastery based on your posted stat weights, however as has been pointed out, that can also be reforged to hit/exp (which has a higher stat weight) based on the rest of your gear and where you get your hit, which will change the results slightly.
