I just don't see the point in AP tryndamere. Ok, you can heal more with your Q. So what? You'd still heal more and do tons of damage with Crit/AD/Attack speed + lifesteal gear.

Have you guys all forgotten the few weeks of AP Tryndamere top lane dominance?
It was so strong it had to get nerfed, completely impossible to get him out of the lane with that sustain.
The AP Tryndamere would just split push the entire game and you couldn't 1v1 him due to his stupidly strong heal.
After his nerfs Ap Yi would win, but before that it would just be a stalemate of healing after they use their burst ability.

Realistically AP trynd would win the lane assuming equal skill and no ganks

Plus Trynd has no mana costs. He'd win in a straight up 1v1 laning phase.

I think people who say AP Trynd is weak have never had to fight one... He hits almost as hard as an AD Trynd, almost as fast, except he has max CDR and can pretty much heal back to full health, probably 2-3x in a longer engagement. Oh ult so you can't kill him? Ah it'll end! Oh wait, he just healed to full again. And off he goes.

Trynd will destroy Yi is said. Yi is strong if he can clean up teamfights. 1v1 he's quite crappy.

AP trynd's AA's are stronger than Yi's. Not to mention the crit you get via passive on trynd makes the spins on a shorter cd. So more sustained dmg comes from trynd. Those who say ignite would counter trynd.... Would counter Yi more. Since the heal is MUCH more substantial for Yi and the cd much longer. So in an all in fight, trynd wins on dmg and sustain.

you like to argue RAWRF, seeing you pop in threads just to play devils advocate. Yi's ult is actually TERRIBLE 1v1, TERRIBLE. He is a reset champion. Trynd is someone who doesnt get bullied out of lane. Full item vs full item, trynd wins. But there is so point arguing with you anyway.
