    BigWigs Elvui skin?

Is it possible to skin BigWigs with the Elvui skins WITHOUT having Elvui installed?

I know of this addon: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/elvui_addonskins

Bit it requires Elvui as a dependency.
I know that you can choose the Tukui skin option in the bigwigs default, but I don't like how it looks. Is it possible to make them look like Elvui?

You can set the bar style to tukui with standard bigwigs.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I know that you can choose the Tukui skin option in the bigwigs default, but I don't like how it looks. Is it possible to make them look like Elvui?

Pretty sure you have to have TukUI or ElvUI to use those.

To answer the OP though, I dont think so since TukUI/ElvUI codes everything themselves to look like that. I dont think you can just slap on a skin.

Seriously? Did you even read the OP? He specifically mentioned that addon and why it's not an option for him (hint: he's not using Tuk/Elv)

To the OP: I guess you could rework the bigwigs skin by editing the lua files directly, though that would make it a pita on updates (which are quite frequent).

Other than that (depending on how well you're doing with lua) you could try to make elvui_addonskins (or atleast the bigwigs part of it) standalone.

    HAHA I'll admit I didn't...

That's why I normally don't answer threads early in the morning. Sorry Opie.

No worries Puerto. Anyway, I would think that someone had done this already. I can edit lua and do it myself, which I have before...but like you said, there are updates all of the time. So I quit doing that. I will try to get alvui_addons to work as a stand alone and contact the author. Maybe he would be interested in doing that.

    Try editing !QuseWigs instead.

What's wrong with the TukUI skin? Or are you just saying ElvUI is significantly different?

Looking at the skinning addon it does infact use code from ElvUI, but it should be possible to rip that out and make it standalone.
