Would I be tarred and feathered for suggesting that all specs should have access to exotics, seeing that some other previously spec-only things have become baseline?

I think all specs should be able to use them in stampede.
Other than that, I disagree.
BM used to have extra pet talents - but now that's gone. If you remove exotics, BM will have absolutely no extra pet-spec "flavor".

I always wanted exotic training to be a passive talent all specs can get instead of a BM thing. Exotic pets should be stronger than "regular "pets.Something close to what warlocks have but of course we have to go out and tame them. I wouldn't mind trading it for dire beast as BM is the pet spec or even allowing BM to control 2 pets.

If you made exotic pets stronger than others (which they are now, but only in sake of exotic ability) and let them open to tame for all classes, you wouldn't see a hunter without an exotic. Exotic beasts are one of the things that gives Beast Mastery its flavor. Without exotic pets, you could just rename the whole tree to "Pet Mastery."
