do BG bosses scale with gear updates.

does bosses like drek or van (Av bosses) scale as stronger gear is released? if it doesn't that makes no sense.

No that is why as expansions go on ppl just zerg more and more since the NPC are less and less important.

It has always been this way. NPCs shouldn't be the deciding factor in pvp, even in AV where they play a large role you can win or lose the match without anybody fighting them at all. If they did scale them how would they do it? If they tuned them to the best gear that ppl can get then it would make it far more difficult then it should be for new max lvl toons or lower geared players. NPC shouldn't have increased roles in pvp if anything they should be removed from BGs and make them actually about pvp not some bastardized version of pvp/pve hybrid nonsense.

well its a 40 man bg drek has less hp then a 10 man raid. for a bg were if you zerg the npc the npc is the deciding factor. when you do a bg like IOC or AV why is there so little pvp for a bg with 80 people because the npc are so weak they can be facerolled so easily it removes the purpose of fighting horde/ally. if the npc were tougher to kill then it would promote team play leading to more pvp. arent newer lvl 90 toons always at a disadvantage in pvp why should that be any different for AV/IOC when they are not such of a liability because there are much more people they can blend in.

years back when the NPC were tough to kill AV was filled with PVP, once the NPC became nub stompable pvp became near nonexistent.

Because a 10 man raid fight is supposed to be like 5 minutes. Drek/Vann are supposed to be liek a 30-45 second fight.
