Hey, why don't you ask Reid why he was so in favor for auditting the fed in 2010, and now in 2012/2013 he refuses to let a bill to AUDIT the fed even be voted on since it was proposed by someone on "the other team."?

I've got this weird theory, and hear me out on this one, but I feel like the Republican party went with the extremist right wing dipshit that couldn't even compete with Obama in 2012, and did it on purpose so they could rail on Obama for 4 more years (for passing right wing legislation and failing to get left wing legislation past the congressional stone wall) so that they could put a more moderate forward in 2016 and have a sure fire win, and then pass their crazy far right legislation.

This entire thread is off base, just to ridicule Obama. Presidents cannot serve a 3rd time. Its by that way since every President in history. Why you think it would change now. This entire thread is designed to mock the President. Well its hard to get anything passed in the senate when Republicans block everything. You think its just as easy being President, he still has sign a bill through two stages.

Next I'm start a should Hilary run for 2016. Unless their is certain biased, since this thread exists, should be no problem.

Mitt Romney's not conservative or right wing, though, that's the crazy thing. Neocon, sure, but conservative? No way. He also believes in socialized medicine, gun control, and excessive overseas spending. That's not conservative at all (mind you, George Bush x2, and the other presidential 'contenders' weren't conservatives either, neocons = liberals by definition).

AHCA is something that directly affects me and I'm opposed to it, anything that expands the power of the government and makes it harder for me to make a living, I'm against. What right wring legislation has Obama passed, btw? I guess the NDAA 2012/2013 and HR 347 are pretty fascist, but far left and far right are both totalitarian.

Health insurance reform was something the Republican party was carrying a torch for until Obama finally picked it up and passed it.

If you're saying they're not conservative in the sense that they're not small government then you're absolutely right. Modern Reps are arguably more big government than even Dems, just in different (read: right wing) ways.

It's a theory, based solely on the fact that even they should have seen how big of a clown he was. Although given the other candidates in the Republican primaries, the others made Romney look downright reasonable. They would have been better to put Paul up, but I think they saw Paul as more of a loose canon and not as controllable.

If I remember correctly, Obama has referred to himself as a "Democratic Socialist". "Real" Socialists, however, have distanced themselves a lot from that distinction. They are not the same thing. "Progressive" is also different than the others...and I do feel he fits that term a bit more closely, albeit imperfectly.

He may call himself that, but he really isn't, similar to how many "libertarians" in the GOP don't remotely resemble that word at all.

Honestly, saying that you are in favor of term limits on SCOTUS justices is pretty self defeating, given that both are undemocratic.
