(Yes that belt is blue....I should be able to get the 522 belt in two weeks. Literally no other belt has dropped.)

This is all 25m.

During fights like H:Horridon I am so terribly out of mana before we even get to the final phase. If I'm lucky I might have 15% mana and no teas.

On fights like Lei Shen I am out of mana just about by the end of the second transition phase.

I have tried using expel harm on CD and also not using it at all, and found that my mana runs a little bit cleaner than when I don't use it. I've seen quite a lot of threads and people recently dropping their spirit down to sub 7k because they are positive mana all the time. Perhaps it's because I'm trying to fight the meters too much, but I simply just cannot keep up the throughput with my mana regen. Would dropping my spirit to 6.5k and getting the next haste breakpoint with some more crit really make that much of a difference?

Anyone have any advice here outside of just better gear? (Just came back to playing again)

Poor Renewing Mist uptime, lack of uplifts, far too much enveloping mist, poor T30 usage (Chi Wave is better) on horridon, overuse of Surging Mist, far too much spirit on your gear, and idk if you're using spirit food/flask you shouldn't be. Drop 3000 spirit into haste to get the second BP.

You should get Soothing Talisman of Shado-pan Assault for 1750 VP. It's better than your upper trinket.

Not that you asked for min/maxing, and of course it is fine if your raid is satisfied with you. But doing dailies twice to be able to buy a belt, or earning 1750 honor (if you are not into PVP like me you can simply kill the operation shieldwall "rares" 6 times) really is no ridiculous high commitment.
Of course I realise the difference between a blue belt and a 476 belt is rather cosmetic, yet it simply makes a better impression (and you obviously agree, or you wouldn't excuse the blue belt in your posting).
