If I wasn't too sad to leave my house and stop knitting while eating popcorn, I'd question his comment.

I liked 300, but for the gore. Definitely not for the beautifully rendered CG shots, nor the leather-clad, oiled up, muscle bound men with tight abs and...

Yeah, I liked it for the gore.

But, more people witness one pile over the other more. You are assuming that people who hate on Fox, watch MSNBC or some other news source. While ratings and influence simply don't match. Msnbc can declare Satan as their new spokes model and the only people who will notice are fox viewers.

Caring about Fox News is like caring about the special Olympics if the participants were members of an internationally maligned news syndicate filled with neo-fascists who care about family values.

I was about to post this. That study doesn't discuss bias, but percent of programming that people consider opinion. This doesn't account for the fact that most people consider e.g. Bill O'Reilly news when he is not. Nowhere does it discuss bias, misinformation, or yellow journalism in the outlet's coverage of events.

I'm not making that assumption at all. Simply calling out drivel for what it is.

I don't care if someone posts "LOLOL MSNBC" or "LOLOL HuffPo"

They are really all pretty bad to begin with.
