account banned for racism and language, but 8 hrs later no longer banned?

i had pretty much given up on any hope of getting my 2 level 90 warlocks back. 495/515

Last night in a cpl bgs and in trade chat i was using language and racism for about 30 minutes or so. i was basically like yea im getting banned for sure. dont really care cuz it'll be good for my health long term if i no longer play wow.

so in the morning i went to log in to afk through some LFRs and as i expected... ACCOUNT BANNED (not suspended).

well, i get home from work about 8 hrs later and log in only to find that im no longer banned...?

this is weird. i thought for sure i was gone for good.


i have a history of helping people and telling 15 yr old boys to F off when they comment about my play. i like to help extreme noobs though. ive used the N word prolly 5 times in 5 yrs and received a 3 day ban about 3 yrs ago. nothing since except i was banned on the forums for calling a ... a witch a witch, cuz she was (<that is toned down to PG btw) never like getting trolled by girls playing a video game lol

my other history may have saved me possibly: what do u think?

some bans are only short term, think theres some that are like 3hours. if its your first offence they are usually pretty short.
