I honestly think that with the cool bonus stuff you get from the collector's box, and their amazingly low quantity (only 22k copies worldwide) you pretty much HAVE to get the collector's edition.

I'm tempted to buy another one just so I could keep it and sell for 10x in 2 years

Yes,but it's not wimpy. You get a catapult, a dice set, a card set, a table-game set, a cloth map, and a laser etched box. It's pretty beast.

pretty sure the three you are getting are just 3 "tribes" from the same race, so it would be 1 added to the 9 or 3 added to the 27 tribes.

ha, i know :P but not sure if i can justify spending £100 on a game, got bills to pay and next year ill be a student, so i will need my money!
the catapult is tempting me though, would be more tempting if it came with a miniature Roman legionaire soldier.

It's true, we students are short on cash

Edit: fact I also have like 10 other games that I ordered (all CE) that are coming soon, not helping but offtopic.

Probs for good. Amazon have it as £30 and there prices tend not to vary after release too.

Steam had it originally as £45 but claims there is a 33% discount when really the RRP is £30.

Yes! Charge willingly into my formations and embrace the death of the gladius, saving me the trouble of hunting you down! My slow, ever-advancing wall of flesh and steel will grind your barbarians to paste! You will learn to flee at the sight of the roman war machine, to hide in dark forests like animals!
    "Quack, quack, Mr. Bond."

I was going to simply ask since when were tower shields little, but eh, Cattlehunter's thing works too.

Here is a german vid that apparently got taken down because it was showing stuff from the campaign game that CA didn't want shown yet.

Here is a thread showing goodies from it.

    Wanna hear something silly?

I bought every Total War game as it came out (actual disc versions). I bought that huge fancy collection of them (again, disc version) when it came out. I bought the collection when it released on Steam. I'm looking forward to picking up this one, too.

I have never once played a Total War game in my life. Ever. Never even installed one.
