Name 5 things that blizzard should add back.

    Personal opinions ofcourse.

1.Old Night Cycle, The older ones who we all have seen awhile ago is alot better and makes you feel like night is dangerous and actually scary then just how it is now, you can't even see the difference between night and day if you dont look up the sky.

2.This is really personal but i think they need to add back the staff/polearms hunters could wear before MoP, I myself loved to had something on my back it felt like my hunter felt strong they dont need to add back like stats or something but a way to have a staff on your back would be amazing.

3.Remove level 90 guards from towns. I saw a screenshot where lvl 30ers were attacking the barrens, i think that is pretty cool and even new players who are leveling can have a little fun by attacking towns, not everything should belong to max levelers only.

4.arena skirmishes should be added back in the game, it was for funsies and was pretty relaxing but fun same time.

5.Being able to control your pet back in the days was pretty awesome, that skill they should have never been removed.

What do you guys would like to see back in the game?
    (NOT REMOVED!)

Regarding 3. I believe equal-to-your-level guards should spawn at a reasonable rate so as to make it fair & to at least buy lowbies chance to escape.

I say bring back eyes of the beast.
Bring back Onyxia for SoO :>

    1. Quiver/ammo pouch for hunters on the back.

    2. World PvP objectives just like the ones in the Burning Crusade

    3. Hardmodes for raids just like in Ulduar. I think replacing the Heroic and making it so that you trigger the Hardmode was a fun concept they should have kept going.

    4. This one is more like "adding" more than "bringing back" I would like that all parts of Azeroth bring somehting to current content. Like random gatherable materials. It's a little bit bringing back because I remember going out there to gather things helping me for current content/pvp seasons (Free action potion, Demonic Stones (the ones which converted hp into mana) and stuff.)

    5. I would like that Blizzard bring back the era where you would level and not one shot all the things so that you could actual learn the class as you leveled. (for those who don't play World of Portcraft)

By the way, your number 3 says "remove"

    1) The honor grind system. Coming from a former Warlord, this system was a lot of fun compared to the current system.

    2) World PvP. Remember Hillsbrad?! That was what made World of Warcraft amazing. Nerf the damn guards already, it's not fun going to PvP and end up fighting guards that take a minute to kill. Make the lowbie towns susceptible to being taken over, like the old days.

    3) 40 man raids. Miss those days!

Basically, Blizzard should just release a Vanilla only server. :>

EDIT: Agree completely on the old night cycle.

I have a feeling I'm going to get grilled for this based on "balance" but the only thing I want back is viable 3-spec tanking for DKs....Those were the days

I'd like them to add back the inability to use anything other than ground mounts.

    *removal stipulation successfully dodged*

Bring back DHK's on PVE servers so those pansies who kill questgivers and run away when anyone their own level shows up to defend, have to find a new hobby.

    1. Old-style talent trees that don't lock you into a given spec at lvl 10.
    2. Zones with a level range of 10-15.
    3. Orange and red quests.
    4. Elite and escort quests.
    5. Mobs that are actually dangerous to fight and make you learn your class.

  11. #11
    1. Quick gearing up to raid level like in Cata.
    2. Specialized profession (instead of just Alchemy)

    And... that's about it.

    1. AP/SP. As someone pointed out, it'd fix the issues of certain classes being forced into certain weapons because str/agi/int/spi.

    2. Post-launch heroics. They were my favorite content in Wrath and early Cata.

.... Yeah that's all. Blizz doesn't often remove content.
    Unsubscribed 3/10/2014 - 8/14/2014.
    "Times change."

Beware the claims of yearly expansions. It's not more hype more often, it's paying more for less. Fewer tiers, no more new levels, no more new races/classes, but an ever-increasing price tag....

Screw 5, because mods are dumb and closed my thread.

    Here are some of mine:
-New and improved CRZ. If done correctly, it could solve the issue of server populations. Going more in depth, my changes would be:
-Limit connected realms to 3-4 realms (less for high pop realms)
-Limit connected realms to 3-4 realms (less for high pop realms)
    -Cross realm AH
-You can guild and raid current content with people from connected realms
-Node spawns in pre-MoP content increased by 50%
-LFG connects you more often with people from connected realms
-CRZ in Pandaria, mob and node spawn increased by 50% to compensate
    -More punishment for cross-realm griefing

    -More world bosses
-Tougher world content; more elites, more group bosses, more world bosses, etc. (IoT is a good example of this)
-LFR drops the same ilvl gear as 5-man heroics, and doesn't give legendary quest items (I'm sick of getting yelled at for not doing the current tier's LFR).
    -Current heroics buffed by 20%
    -10/25 shared lockout removed
    -More attention to PvP balance
-"World Chat" implemented, which spans the entirety of Pandaria (or the current expansions main continent), and is used for forming groups and raids.
-More heroic-only bosses for the hardcores. Because why not.
    -Separate PvP/PvE specs
-Combination of the Wrath and MoP talent systems (talent point every level with a 'meta' MoP-like talent every 15 levels)
-Less of a stress on daily quests as content
-Implementation of longer, more difficult questchains at level cap.
    -More leveling dungeons
    -Less focus on scenarios
-Faction shared tag on elite rares and group rare bosses (like in IoT)
-Class quests (not the crappy ones we have now)
-More focus on older, less-used capital cities
-Give us more areas to explore in the world
-More elite areas in zones. Isle of Giants is a great example of what I want to see.
-World events. I want to see the world feel more 'alive'. Let's see world bosses attacking cities, groups of elite pats attacking important questing hubs.
    -More focus on world PvP.
-Close the gap a bit more between low end PvP and PvE. Make it so that geared PvErs don't get annihilated in low end PvP (which they're doing in 5.3 a little bit), and make it so that geared PvPers can hold their own in lower end PvE.
-More min/max type stats. Bring back armor pen, block rating, spell pen, resistances, etc. Not just the haste/crit/mastery/exp/hit we have now.
    -Hearthstone mini-game in WoW
-More focus on city PvP. Add in some more 'bosses' to cities that give honor/conquest/achievements when killed. Add in some more elite guards to cities that don't have a lot of player activity
-Less focus on LFR loot and more focus on what it was actually meant to do; show the content off in a less 'hardcore' environment.
-Heroic 5-man 'progression' dungeons. I.e, have 2 different level cap difficulties, heroic, and elite. Elite would drop higher ilvl gear.

We need to bring back Onyxia every expansion. Turn it into a meme...what zany thing is Onyxia going to do next??? Will she return as Robo-Onyxia? Zombie Onyxia? Developers could have fun with it

1.) Eyes of the Beast definitely! I miss tricking noobs or farmers into attacking my flagged pet! XD

2.) Dungeon rep tabards. Keep the dailies, but give us back our tabards!

3.) DHK's and Honor grind(s) as previously mentioned above me.

4.) Bring out more 5-mans. Even being "rehashed" I enjoyed Cata's 5-man's more than MoP- even ZA/ZG. (It gave me a challenge!)

5.) Bring back the old talent trees. I missed doing this in BC. I was a BM Hunter who had Ferocious Inspiration AND went so far into Survival to get the Improved Traps! So while my beast nibbled on mobs and buffed everyone, I was out trapping mobs that needed to be CC'd constantly.

Bring back, cool stuff happening in cities, like urr, i dunno, just stuff that makes the world feel alive. Like when people used to be on the onyxia quest chain. Or when someone kited a really bad elite to the city and really caused chaos. Bad guys turning up at SW gates and calling us or the king out. Put the war in your f****** face!

Your first point i agree 100% on, PvP is like not rewarding anymore, bring back the old system would bring back alot of smile faces

I only have three things I want to bring back, they are mostly all cosmetic.

First off I would like to have the old nights back, darker.

Secondly I want my Old Ironforge back, yes I'm one of those dudes who sit the whole day in Ironforge instead of Stormwind.

And third, I would like to have Blacksmithing back when it was introduced, weaponsmith, armorsmith and different paths.
"Why do we fight? To protect home and family, to preserve balance and bring harmony. For my kind the true question is, what is worth fighting for?"

  20. #20
    1. Old nights, that definitely tops my wishlist
    2. Old PvP system along with DHKs (maybe on players too if they are 9 lvls lower)
    3. Old talent tree. Out of all the talent tree incarnations, the Mists seem to be the one giving them the hardest time to balance. That and it's off the original point. There's only the illusion of choice when some talents are mandatory. Who cares if you can be a frost mage with living bomb? You'll pick frost bomb anyway.
