There was an undead player called undeadbutthead on my server once. He took out a couple of vowels and maybe one of the T's to make it fit.

Also there was a Salty Choklitballz (can't remember exact spelling but again he took out a vowel or two to make it fit).

Notable names: Shamans stick out for some reason. Primarily Oprahwindfury (though the one I saw was an orc) and Shammydavisjr. During Vanilla there were a pair of human paladins named Murtaugh and Riggs on my server - and one Alterac Valley, they were grouped with a gnome mage named Joepesci.

Notable guild tags: <Sapped Girls Can't Say No>, <My Little Pwny>, <Gnomercy>, <It Hurts When I PvP>.

Best combination of name/guild tag: Human paladin named Jayne, sporting the guild tag <Hero of Canton>. Firefly reference FTW.

In classic we had a "You" and "Yourself" running around on horde side, which caused some odd combat log entries
You hit Yourself for 900
You died (while being alive)
You hit (insert some aly name) for 900

For horde, this could have been confusing in 5mans.
*Item drops, everyone rolls*
You rolled 80
You rolled 46
....

You won (player doesn't receive the item as the char "You" won the item)

Also saw some ppl running around with names like "Orcshaman" on an aliance or "Humanpaladin" on a horde
