I'm assuming you're meaning a 12 month work and holiday visa? You can't just "move" to Australia, but you can live here for 12 months very easily if you're under 30.

85%+ of Australia's population lives within an hours drive of a coastline, so you'd need to be more specific about where you want to live, 'cuz we're coastal all round. In terms of cost of living, you'll want to avoid the big cities directly, and go for surrounding suburbs. If you are indeed using the 12 month work/holiday visa, you'll need to show you have at least 5,000 dollars upfront.

    WTF is a "Drop Bear"?

I'm picturing somebody in the Outback hiking, and then a 600lb grizzly bear drops out of the sky on top of them. :P

Thats exactly what it is only the bears are a lot smaller and jump from trees. Watch out for Hoop snakes as well, they are nasty and fast

Haven't even a clue what incident you're talking about, I just hate the way that I saw you talking to people, all the time, but the way you talking about Fal***ed behind his back was pretty pathetic.

    Deadly wildlife is overblown.

I live in a very rural bush town and I havnt seen a snake in years. Heck I live right on the edge of town next to a river and bushland. Also I dont drive so I walk everywhere.

i was looking to get a sponsor to live there permanently but i was told that its ridiculously hard to get a company to sponsor you as they only sponsor people if they cant find an Ozzie who cant do the job. so yea ill probability be going for the working holiday visa. i would like to live in Sydney.
atm im just trying to calculate how much it would cost to get my visa, flights, renting a house & money to live on while i found a job, my mate moved over there and he said he bought flights got his visa & only took £1000 ( about $1500 ) and stayed in a backpackers hotel which was like £130 ($200) a week or something then not sure what he done from there.

i know once im over there & working its just a matter of trying to get a company to sponsor me so i can stay permanently. was kinda wondering if the immigration office would be able to help me to find a cheapish place to say and find a job etc.
or would they take the £360 ( $554 ) for the work visa then id be on my own :/
