What Was Your First Epic Piece of Gear?

Taran Ice. Was dumbstruck. Back in classic, I was grinding the Furblogs in Felwood, as I didn't have any quests available, and it dropped. I was so happy. I even managed to sell it for the 800g i needed for my epic mount.

It was either Glowing Brightwood Staff from a guildy or Felheart Gloves off Lucifron, can't remember which one I got first but it was around the same time back in Vanilla.

Well i farmed some epics before hitting 60 so it was more that one at a time. Most of my lvl up i spent it on Felwood (i think) inside a cave farming living essences. I kept 10 i think and sold the rest, then went to plaguelands to farm some annoying worms that dropped the other material. This was for the back Hide of the wild (leatherworking from a friend). After i got the mats I spent rest of the time lvling in Alterc Valley were i got the epic trinked @ exalted , Unstoppable Force mace and a ring (Don rigoberto's or . something) Yeah too lazy to go and check the details now ,but uppon hitting 60 i had 3 epics waiting for me ^_^

PS. I was the proud founding member of the guild Alterac Valley fishermans , (guess why lol :P ).

i remember i was questing in felwood and im fairly certain i wasnt even a high enough level to use it. when it dropped i was like "oh man i might be able to sell this for like 50 or 100 gold and ill be rich"

Headmaster's Charge back in Vanilla on my priest. I rolled a 22 and the mage in the group passed, which shocked me since honestly most people in this game are just assholes.

The first epic I found was the Green Tower. At the time typing /who 41-60 yielded around 4 people so it wasn't easy to sell since it's so crappy. I don't remember what I did with that.
The first epic I used was the Gut Ripper. Bought it for 40g and enchanted it for another 10. That was a lot back then!!

Kang the Decapator dropped when my lock went to WPL to level. It was like 2 weeks after TBC launched.

Back in classic while questing with two friends in STV ... An epic staff dropped! Staff of Jordan! One of them was a warrior so he just passed and the other was an Enhancement Shammy so he passed too... I was happy as a boy on christmas eve! And for quite a while, wherever I went, be it Battlegrounds, dungeons, group quests, people would see the staff and go "wow dude, where'd you get THAT? :O".

my first epic piece of gear was back in vanilla. my brother had a mob drop eye of flame http://www.wowhead.com/item=3075/eye-of-flame and since he was a druid, he gave it to me (mage). i still have it to this day.

First epic I ever looted was Boots of Avoidance in Uldaman way back in Vanilla.
Was so siked and when the loot was beeing done I disconnected I was like NOES! Finally logged back in and there it was shining in my bag ^^
