    Yeah I agree with Butler Log about Bryan Cranston.
    I'd give honourable mentions to Kevin Spacey, Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen

    Most liked Actor - Idris Elba for Luther. I may even have a slight man crush.

    (I may add a few honourable mentions when I look back at what I've watched this year)

    And the trouble with that, is that he's probably going to have to take a break from acting until his face is no longer automatically associated with Walter White, Crystal Meth Chef. The same probably goes for Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn.

    I personally really enjoyed Kevin Spacey as well in House of Cards, maybe even on par with Bryan Cranston.

    kevin spacey is rather brilliant in House of Cards.... great character, and he plays it really well

    not so sure about Robin Williams in the Crazy Ones

    any of you seen Betrayal ? Henry Thomas plays T.J. Karsten, a supporting actor, does a good and tricky job well imo, altho I'll hold off on final appraisal until I see a few new people. James Cromwell is also in that show, and he does a pretty good job too. Tron, older actors are usually really good, and would do better to have more of them in so many of these shows, but younger actors are hot.. and it's sick they use that to rope you in

    They'll just do theater for a while (which is what most of them are already doing) until something "as good" or as interesting to play comes along.

    OT: Kevin Spacey for House of Cards, and Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad. Equally great performances. I'd probably put Peter Dinklage in that top 3 too. I honestly can't choose between the three.

    I don't think Cranston has anything to worry about regarding being typecast. He's such a strong and diverse actor, he'll have no problem with future roles.
