Is 2 x melee vs any monk a certain loss?

Our setup is healer + double melee and we've never beaten a monk team even at 1500mmr.

It seems the moment we put ANY pressure, the monk will ring of peace his teamate and then all three will come inside and get the dying enemy at full life.
By the time we can set up another kill same thing. ring of peace.

So should we just accept defeat against monk teams and save our time?
Or is there something strategic, something we are doing wrong, that I am missing?

EDIT: for clarification the setup is holy pally, rogue, warrior.

CC the Monk before going for burst?

Make him blow his bubble on him or someone else then hard swap. You can burn through Revival no probs

HoJ the Target with RoP on it and make a switch to someone else who's not standing in it. Also, if you can pressure them hard enough so they have to use RoP. Pop your cd's just after that. A good opener with some cc from the pally and a "cloak and dagger" jump to the healer with shadowdance to garrote him should be enough, at least for those 1500mmr teams that usually can't handle it.

    Hard match for sure...

mistweaver - sap + blinding light + hoj the monk in the opener and go hard on a dps that you can force a lot of pressure on, you need to force monks trinket and at least bubble or ring of peace. If you can't do that in the opener you're doing it wrong. Also chain blind into sap into hoj, warr fear into sap into hoj and time smokebomb well.

punch monk - You should sit on the monk a lot and blow him up during stuns, don't use your offensive cds if you can't stun him.

yeah the best thing to do is to counter the first ring of peace and force cocoon and pvp trink. CC the main dps, pressure the MW. Start spliting them (focusing MW has huge gaps, let the MW roll or fly away then switch hard. When he RoP the kill target, stun the RP target and grip or split them up and either switch back to healer or the other dps. Having 2 melee will be great (warr charge, DK grips, etc). I play UnHoly DK and personally love coming up against a MW monk. Resto shaman and warlock, now thats a different story. And the fact they are making demonic gateway a shorter cast or CD or whatever doesnt help. Affliction + R sham is going to be a deadly combo
