New laptop wont connect to our network , help! :(

    Hey smart internet people,

I bought a new laptop yesterday (an Acer Aspire v5 571) and it wont connect to our network on it's own.
All computers in our house use a USB adapter to connect, but I assumed a laptop should be able to own its own accord.
There's a Qualcomm Atheros AR5BW222 Wireless Network Adapter in the laptop, but when I try to connect it says it can't.

With the Wireless NEtwork USB Adapter 54g WL-608, everything works fine.
I read something about drivers but I have no idea what those are >.>

Any help would be immensly appreciated, 'cuz having a USB poking out the side of the laptop isn't very pleasant.

    Kind Regards,

    Tsutey

You should have got a CD with the laptop that contains the relevant drivers. Insert it into the CD drive, and install the network driver off the CD.
