Who we are:

T H U N D E R is a late night raiding guild designed to accommodate the needs of a wide range of players. The most commonly shared attributes of our members are friendliness, maturity and a willingness to help.
Our raid times suit players who can reliably play and raid later in the evenings as well as the weekends. We start our social events and raids at 22:00 carrying on through to 01:00 (Server time, GMT+1).
We are currently 7/7 HC Highmaul and 8/10 HC BRF and 3/13 normal HFC, we have only just returned to Heroic raiding since a rebuild and we will be taking down a good few over the next few weeks!
Our current raid schedule is as follows:
Monday 22:00 to 01:00
Wednesday 22:00 to 01:00
Friday 22:00 to 01:00
Saturday or Sunday 22:00 to 01:00 - Social night (Challenge modes, old raids, achievements, treasure hunts etc.)
Who you are:
We are looking for three major types of people:
- Raiders who wish to see end game content but the intensity/harshness/schedule/pressure of hardcore raiding guilds do not suit them.
- Casual raiders who can raid once in a while but are not chasing end game content.
- Non-raiding players who wish for a supportive and friendly gaming environment.
Right now, our current major needs are for active, experienced raiders, preferably Ranged DPS'ers to help us rebuild our core raid team. These successful candidates will gain a place in our raiding roster after a short trial and will get to raid with us often.To see our exact raiding needs, please look at the below link, however all applicants for all roles will be considered so please do apply if we sound like a fit for you!

There is a lightly taken unspoken rule that applicants are preferably 18 years or more of age, although a lot of the guild are a lot older than this, under 16's will not be considered.

Hi all, Thunder is still recruiting. We're rebuilding our team and got back into HC raiding. Currently we're mostly looking for ranged dps, but other roles and socials are welcome to apply.
Quick Update Folks: We are currently 4/10 Heroic BRF, still actively seeking Ranged especially to join our main team. As always, still looking for socials and other raiders too
Quick note to say awe are now 7/10 Heroic after this evening's run. Thogar is no more. We will be progressing onto Maidens now this coming reset.
We are still in need of a monk for all roles (preferably melee with tank offspec), holy paladin, mage and one other melee player. This will help us polish off our team to start looking at some heroic bosses.

Quick update to let you know that we are now 8/10 HC with Maidens downed this evening. We will now be progressing to finish off Blast Furnace and Blackhand before 6.2 hits.
We are recruiting extra bodies in all areas for 6.2 to help us have Mythic ready numbers for more flexibility and for 6.1 Mythic raids. Our main recruitment needs for this patch are still melee a monk and a mage. But we will be happy to consider all candidates at this moment in time.

Hi all, we got ourselves to 6/13 Normal HFC tonight, and we only needed 1-2 more pulls of Iskar to be 7/13 (3rd pull was a 10% wipe).
We are still actively recruiting and building the last few aspects of our current team, and currently could do with a few extra ranged folks especially to help us attain Mythic numbers. We can then go back and do plenty of HM and BRF Mythic while continuing with progress in HFC.
All applicants will be considered as always regardless of if their spec is needed atm, and also as always, plenty of social spots open in the friendliest guild on Misery .
We had a great evening tonight here in THUNDER and downed three new bosses. Taking into account that we reset every week, that means we downed 9 bosses straight this reset . New bosses downed were Socrethar, Fel Lord and Shadow Lord Iskar.
We are very close to the Mythic numbers that we're looking for now and have consistently 15-17 people going out every raid night. We are currently looking for a Mistweaver Monk, a Resto Druid and any 3 ranged bodies to join our core team. We will as always consider other applications.

Progress night was on us again tonight having cleared 9/13 again before tonight's raid. We had a great night of it again with Tyrant going down in 3 pulls and Xhul going down in 4. Great work from everyone in the team putting us at 11/13 Normal within 3 full resets (resetting it each time),
Do you want to be part of the fun? We're still looking for about 3 ranged and 1-2 great healers to buffer us up from a 15 man team to a 20 man team. We will be doing some BRF Mythic when we hit those numbers on the weekends as well as our progression in HFC.
One more normal reset week for us to get skip tokens and then we'll be jumping at heroic, so get on board with us!
Quick update on where THUNDER is at. Lot's of holidays for us last week so a casual week of it was had slowly clearing through HFC Normal for one last time. We came back with the full team tonight with the lock standing at 9/13 clear. We got Tyrant in one, Xhul in 2 and Mannoroth in 4 for some Normal progress bringing us to 12/13 Normal.
We then had 20 minutes left so we decided to try Heroic assault ahead of schedule and downed it in the first pull.
Want to join in on the Heroic Progress fun? We're starting Heroic properly now on Wednesday evening and doing it one day a week for the next while until we down Archi (1 night a week) and gear up some alts / newbies (1 night).
Currently we still need some ranged folks! Full on tanks, healers and melee but as always, exceptional candidates feel free to apply .
