    HoF/Terrace questions

    Hi, continuing on from another thread, our guild do weekly T14 heroic runs on saturdays for fun and are trying hof and toes soon, and we have some questions;

Garalon - I noticed on HC it has quite a lot of HP for a short enrage - is the enrage quite tight on heroic, or?

Vizier - How stern is the healing requirement on HC - and does it take a while to get used to the mechanics?

Tsulong - How difficult is HC in comparison to normal nowadays?

Wind Lord - Which adds would you CC/interrupt nowadays on HC?

Garalon is trivialized with gear. Also the melee get the 100% buff on legs and are able to multi dot (bleed) and cleave onto boss.

Vizier has only one mechanic which is still difficult to deal with, and that is atenuation. Healing through the force and verve should be quite trivial (make a healing rotation if needed) as you can bring 3 healers no problem.

Tsulong is pretty much purely a numbers check. Gear = win if your healers know how to heal boss and such.

Wind Lord = cc'ing the amber guys is even more helpfull now. With gear and the 10% nerf the blademasters cannot even one shot people without cooldowns or shields anymore.

Vizier is really tough on the very last phase. Everything up to that point, especially if you got 500 ilvl+ makes it all very easy.

If you go with ToT gear, bloodlust when copy spawns, you will kill it before anything too dangerous happen, we used to burn it before with 500 ilvl, so with 520+ and the nerf of hp, it might not even cast rings. Should be faceroll.

Wind Lord might even feel easier than normal since it dies faster and due to every1 having so much hp, charge will no longer oneshot ppl. Yes you CC all trappers.

The only problem you will face is amber shaper and sha of fear, tho if monstrocity explosion is no issue anymore, boss should be pretty easy as well.

Hey, thanks again for the replies so far.

How many stacks of intensity should we be looking at on blade lord heroic before it reaches 20%?
Also how many kiters for garalon?

    Cheers

The intensity stacks on Blade Lord will be absolutely nothing to worry about if you are clearing MSV heroics and even have ToT gear.

Garalon requires 8 kiters if I remember correctly, on 10m. We used to start with two tanks, then rotate through the healers, then finally the ranged dps, switching back to the tanks once their debuff runs off. (it's been a while so maybe im wrong about the 8)
Your persistence of vision does not come without great sacrifice. Let go of the tangible mass of your mind, it is only an illusion. There is no escape.. For the soul burns on everlasting encapsulated within infinite time. A thousand year journey at the blink of an eye... Humanity is dust..

awesome, we are quite ranged heavy so kiting won't be much of an issue. how tight is garalon's dps timer, though, in comparison to other fights in hof? (last question )

running terrace tonight, hoping for the first 3 down!

    ---------- Post added 2013-05-26 at 12:55 AM ----------

    3/4 down. overview:

protectors: 4 tries. went down as soon as people realised how to rotate stacks efficently. no dps issues whatsoever

tsulong: 6 tries. wiped to enrage a few times (tightest fight in t14 i've seen) but then killed it once healers dealt with day phase better.

lei shi: 2 tries. first try we had someone offline, second try scary fog wasn't even applied properly.

    hof tomorrow!
