Anyone else a little let down...

by the new quests? Don't get me wrong, I loved the whole story but once I got to the end and took Razor Hill, I found no dailies. Just one weekly quest . Unless I'm missing something, that kind of sucks as I really enjoyed the 5.1 story and was hoping for something like that....

It's because of all the whiner's who kept complaining about optional content, and now they ended up giving us less. How the hell do you people not see that getting 150 of every item week after week completely sucks compared to getting some variation?

It's not as good as 5.1 in terms of its lasting content. But this isn't meant to stave us off for very long.

The lore is good. This seems to be a content patch full of battle pets, scenarios and BGs/Arena. That's cool for a lot of people. for me it's meh, but I'm prob in the minority.

The battlefield barrens was added because peopel whine about dailys. Would you rather have had that or 3-5 new dailys a day.

I am glad it isn't dailies, but they could have spiced it up a little. It's a very uninspired grind. Nothing fun or special about. Just kill dudes. No thanks.

It's not the same group of people complaining about these things though. Some people were satisfied with dailies as content and aren't too into the Barrens so they become more vocal as a result. People that hated dailies but enjoy the go-at-your-own-pace aspect of the Barrens will be less vocal while they are content. That's just how it works.

Unless I"m mistaken (I pretty much cut off contact for a large part of the PTR) wasn't this patch supposed to be dynamic content rather than a plethora of dailies. You kill the mobs, escort the carts, and raid the bases to get resources, not to do dailies?

See, I don't mind dailies in the least bit. That also might be because I don't do them daily. I'm okay with taking my time because I'm not going for a world first kill so I don't need those upgrades or anything (are their any good items this patch?).

Dailies did suck at the beginning of MOP because there were just so many factions to do, especially if you have multiple toons. But I just stick to my shaman now and would like to see some more variety instead of doing this boring thing once a week and then nothing else new because they didn't want to add more content.

Yeah, it's pretty much like this, and I actually like it. It's nice, low-key, optional content that provides a different way of getting Lesser Charms, and I hope the "dynamic event" feel is a sign of things to come.

It isn't meant to last long, just a world event..
but they better hurry up with 5.4, 2-3 months will last too long with the amount of content 5.3 brings..

The problem with the devs is they can´t put constructive criticism in the correct content.

At launch, we had Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, Anglers, Cloud Serpents... and after a few days, Golden Lotus turned into like 20 quest per day just for one faction...and once you got settled in, you also had AC and SP available.

Of course some people complained.. that was a crapload of dailies with blue ! all over the map.

Very few people complained about Thunder Island dailies, and most people really enjoyed the 5.1 hub.

The devs just have this very heavy handed way of doing things. People were burned out of running herioc dungeons in Cata... so we get a very few with MOP launch and now just a crapload of scenarios....

All things in moderation. My guess is the devs are going to go all out on these dynamic events until we are sick to death of them. They need to sprinkle different things in.. not just swing the pendulum to the far side.

I would have easily rather had daily progression like 5.1. Those were the best dailies WoW has ever had and that's exactly how dailies need to be handled.

I'm already done with battlefield barrens. Didn't even last me 2 days.

I'm actually thrilled by it. No new dailies to do or rep to grind out; just a simple weekly quest and an easy new title. A very relaxing patch.

If you wanna feel less let down, do the Alliance side of that quest. Horde gets it pretty fucking good by comparison.
