How are Ret Pally's in pvp these days?

Im a full casual player, almost one o two days at week.

Right now im in bg's getting the gear 476 and the survivability is really hard, so im gemming stamina and works for me...

Leave more time for heals, but frost mage's are really hard..

Just curious which gems you guys are using now? I'm still gemmed for PvP Power, but I've heard that gemming for Strength is becoming popular.

Gems seem to be personal preference, but currently I'm running these gems.

Red Socket - Bold Primordial Ruby
Yellow Socket - Fierce Vermilion Onyx
Blue Socket - Tense Imperial Amethyst

Red = STR
Yellow = STR/Haste (or STR/Resil, depending on playstyle) if the bonus is worth it
Blue = STR/Power (or STR/Stam, depending on playstyle) If the bonus is worth it

Straight power/resil is dead. Some of the bonuses (boots) are so bad it's better to just go straight STR.

As all the people above me said, we are currently doing well on the damage, but we simply lack raw passive mitigation (for example, warlocks get that out of Fel Armor).

Holinka did make a post about returning the Cataclysm version of Sacred Shield in 5.4, but let's see

This is what i hope for, it would be a major solution
