Germany really paved way from their part, alienating groups inside their society with such "outsider" rhetorics. I think they still do it to a higher extent with their "immigration society" -stuff.

On topic: It's been interesting how many Americans I've been dealing with who are not obese nor more importantly ignorant. I also always thought Middle Europeans being terrible at English: I've found out it's quite the opposite.
