Nope you are completely correct. Lag has to do with anything from your smoothness of video, internet connection, to automobile movement.

Lag, in an online setting, typically refers to network latency. While it can be used in reference to FPS, to do so is quite silly and incredibly confusing. "Low framerate" makes a lot more sense than "lag."

I prefer 'Lag' for network lag and 'FPS lag'/'Bad FPS' for FPS.

Agree with you on the racist one so hard. I once stayed over at a friend's house in Manchester, it was a party of sorts, there were many people there who I didn't know, one girl there was having an argument with another girl who was black, and things got quite nasty, so I tried to find out what was going on and it turned out that the black girl had come with a friend of a friend of a friend, or something like that, in short, she didn't really know the people hosting the party and was also the one causing the trouble, so I politely suggested that she left, boy did I make the wrong move, she shouted and screamed at me and accused me of being racist multiple times.

In the end my friend had to deal with it and managed to talk her down and she left with her friend she had arrived with, it is worth noting however that she was pretty damn drunk so she might not be like that normally, it still pissed me off though.

Open Minded one makes me laugh a little and sad at the same time. People tend to think just because they are open to learning means they are open minded which is not it at all. Open Minded means a willingness to challenge your own beliefs given a contrary point of view. Many many people who 'claim' they are open minded are really firmly entrenched, inflexible, and dogmatic about their own beliefs. Not that I'm pointing fingers at anyone but I have found a lot of anti-religious people to just be as dogmatic in their beliefs as staunch religious people.
