can"t boot diablo 3 anymore

Since several days I can not get diablo 3 started. I Open the launcher (which still works as it should), but when I click PLAY I get the diablo 3 logo, followed by my screen looking like it wants to switch to the login screen of D3 but after a few seconds I get this message: "Diablo III Retail no longer works.. "

I've done a full reinstall twice, tried the repair tool, ran the game as admin and used the razer gamebooster but without succes !

Anyone who has an idea how to fix this ?

i have no clue.. had a problem once with the patcher that it didn't wanna patch even though i reinstalled..


had nothing to do other than waiting for it to fix itself

run a malware and virus check, try again. might just do the trick.

You could always call blizzard to see if something happened to your account for it to be flagged as a non retail version of the game.

it happend to me a few months ago and i had to change something in a file in the D3 folder, dont remember what, and trying to find the page where i got the info i found http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7415496760 and http://www.d3sanc.com/blue-tracker/d...opped-working/ , probably you already saw them and if not hope it helps.

It could be your AV Software is blocking the execution of the application. Check yo Firewall settings son.
