    What are the filenames for these icons?

    Thanks to everyone who helped out with discovering the locations of the files I asked about!

    I merely updated the files for MoP and used them for the new markers as well.

    I am not so sure that the process is that trivial.
    There is the possibility those are actually models placed in the world, and so would not be replaceable or editable without breaking the terms of use.

    The process of replacing them is beyond easy. I just need to find what the file names are for the textures since they are obviously different from the regular icons. It has nothing to do with models as raid icons (even the ones in the markers) are pure texture, not polygons.

    Using the artbrowser @ wowprogramming.com I was able to locate each icon with a number affix.

    Interface/TARGETINGFRAME/UI-RaidTargetingIcon_1 through to
    Interface/TARGETINGFRAME/UI-RaidTargetingIcon_8

    See if those work.

    Nah, those are the ones I already have replaced for years now. They are (for some reason) different than the ones used with the placed markers.

    That website is really useful though, saves a lot of time from extracting files and converting them just to view them.

    Then aside from the single image containing all 8 found at /Interface/TARGETINGFRAME/UI-RaidTargetingIcons there do not appear to be any others containing those.

    Yeah, it's really odd. I've had the all of the aforementioned files replaced for years now, seems the icons used in the floor markers are elsewhere entirely.

    Those are likely SpellEffects, not just icons. In other words: It's probably impossible to replace them without breaking the ToS.

    I have gone through as many images as I can, and nowhere can I see any others of those icons.
    Unless someone else chimes in with something different, then I would say that they are either models or simply unavailable to be replaced.

    May I ask how you got them to show above players? Still shows as the old for me.

    If you create substitute images for both the single image, and each of the individual as shown at http://wowprogramming.com/utils/artb...TINGFRAME.list then any time the game attempts to use those images, those new ones will be used instead.
    The problem being in this case that the world raid markers were not using either of those, and with being unable to find a 3rd example of those then it is likely that its a model, where it then cannot be modified via that same method.
    Doing that would require actually changing the data files, and that is then against the Terms of Use and risks getting you banned.

    I've replaced / made a couple of textures before but the 8 individual icon I can't replace for some reason.
    As far as I can tell everything should be correct and I'm stuck on what the problem could be.

    The only thing that springs to mind immediately, is that to replace the UI textures I think they need to be in blp format.
    To use a texture in-game through an addon such as kgPanels etc then it being a tga should be sufficient.

    Interesting, it seems that there is at least that one other folder where we can put "external" graphics to replace in-game ones which was not shown on wowprogramming.
    Explain why I was not able to find that.
    Any chance you could upload those somewhere ?
