There are numerous warriors achieving top ranks playing Titan's Grip at the moment in 25man Heroic raiding...not sure why people think it's nonviable.

There are numerous warriors achieving top ranks playing Titan's Grip at the moment in 25man Heroic raiding...not sure why people think it's nonviable.

For the most part people haven't been arguing that TG wasn't viable compared to SMF; it's just that it has been significantly easier to get 1h str weapons (Jin'rohk, Tortos and Iron Qon plus 1 shared boss loot drop) this tier compared to the 2h options (Council, Lei Shen and 1 shared boss loot for Fury) coupled with less competition for 1h str weapons versus 2h.

At this point in time you may as well start getting 2hs if you want 2hs.

the difference is small enough that it comes down to which weps you're lucky enough to get during progress, and perhaps what the fights you're struggling on rely on, e.g a fight with mass aoe or needing to burst down adds or cleave may favor tg but not massively. From my experience the rng of feather procs makes more of a difference than most things on fights in regards to dps, theres so many factors effecting our damage that a few k in favor smf single target only really rears its head on prolonged execute phases and fights with damage buffs during execute like elegon, even then tg can compete fairly. Logs don't show the whole picture and there's a lot fo cleave/storm opportunities this tier that give tg a slight edge on padding pretty much but looking at say a fight like jinrokh where you'd imagine 1h fury would pull far ahead due to buffed execute there seems to be a tg war top.

considering that TG warriors was here since Vanilla, and DK's got into the World of warcraft in WoTLK... you can say that they have been stealing 2-handed from us.
