Who else afk in LFR?

When people are corpse running/being rezzed I'll peek at another screen. I have dual monitors so it's no big deal for me.

During actual play, however, I'm focused on the game at hand.

Sometimes I join LFR and find myself not really feeling like playing after first boss, so I would afk the trash and do the boss. *confession bear*

IMHO either dps is too low or boss hp is too high, I am currently killing jin'rokh and decided to create this thread because I got bored

Not that I try hard in LFR, I just don't switch the screen. My brother does it tho, he doesn't even attack.

I have farmed the normal modes for months, so I usually can't fathom the idea of actually doing them properly. But alts need new epics, so.

Nope never AFK in LFR, I am there to heal, to complete the instance, not to have other people carry my bum.

I do alt tab alot when I'm doing dailies or farming or chatting whilst idle waiting on a queue to pop now and again though

also if i actually try, i feel compelled to correct everyone who is doing it wrong or explaining mechanics wrong in chat. It's easier to go hands off and see what i win.

On some bosses or when I find something interesting on the other screen like a good bit in a movie I will get myself killed on a boss fight in LFR like when the floor falls away etc. Most of the time I actually play decently but it's LFR...it's ment to be beaten by mouth breathing morons so you don't really ever have to put in 100%, you can get away with 50-75% no worries. Scary thing is even if your doing 50% you generally do more DPS than most of the raid.

Who cares though? The bosses die easy for the most part though some you have to pay attention to in ToT.

Never. I don't like the idea of being carried, it's a little something I got called "self-respect". Also I don't have as much time to play WoW as I wish so when I do it's my short leisure time that's getting invested in it. I hate it when other people waste that little time I have so I wouldn't want to do the same to others. That one is called "not being an asshole".

Very well said. I can't stand afk'ers. I wouldn't expect people to carry me, and I don't want to carry others. Their time isn't any more valuable than mine.

I pretty much share this view.

I certainly have my moments of weakness, but it's usually after I've done several LFRs in a day on multiple alts. If I get to the point where I want to not play enough to AFK, it's time for a break or to be done for the day.

This is how I feel, yeah. If I'm actually playing I always feel like trying to get people to do things correctly, and nobody ever does, so it's just easier for me to tab out.

I usually just burst hard during Lust cause I like seeing big numbers, and then I just auto attack. Or if I'm on my healer I just tab out completely since there's literally no fights where you need 6 healers in LFR.
