Well, this may be one of the rare cases where a game will do better without a director. :P

And as far as the annual pass goes, it was not some good will gesture, it was to get people into the RMAH and spend money so blizzard could make money. Simple business move. Nothing more.

The Annual Pass was in order to keep people subscribed to WoW for the time between D3's release and MoP going live. It had nothing to do with the RMAH.

Good for you. Many didn't but sadly many did pay $60 to find out D3 was a terrible continuation of the diablo series and the only hope for it to get better was to quite and wait. On an even sadder note, blizzard agrees with that - "Get out now. Maybe we get our act together later at some magical time in teh future. Then you can come back since you already paid for the product." (but don't forget we'll release an expansion and it will cost you. hehehehe - snicker)

Or maybe you could use the actual quote, and not one that you've altered to make Blizzard appear petty and vindictive:

We of course want Diablo III to be as fun as it can possibly be, but if you do not think the game is fun to play right now, then it is maybe not a bad idea to simply take a break and check back in again at a later time in the future to see if the game has improved more to your liking by then.

They have made a lot of changes that have made the game much better than it was a year ago. And what kind of idiot keeps playing a game even if it is no (longer) fun?
