Got an old setup that I'm using an Audigy 2 value on - at least I think it's "value". It's a crappy setup right now, but the Audigy crap is giving me BSOD on at least one game. Still using XP, but it's an ancient board anyway. Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions on any decent soundcards for desktops, non-5.1/7.1, since I have no need for surrounds on my computer, soundcards which are decent and priced good as well.
I think my MB has a 16x PCI-E slot empty. I think.
Anyways, also, do you think PCI-E soundcards will go out of style soon? Is there anything better than PCI-E coming around?
