    Extremely overpowered racials in some cases.

    Also the racials seem to heavily favor certain classes or roles, very likely that (random example) all priests would have to be Human because of the synergy etc...

    Racials need to have LESS influence on the PvE and PvP battles, and more on primary and secondary professions and similar non-direct DPS/HPS/Survival stuff....

    This would make Humans even stronger in PvP. Racials need to be completely reworked and perhaps have it so that you choose what racials you want your character to have so it's not determined by what race you choose. I guess then they wouldn't be racials to a degree, but that feels like the best fix since players can't really complain about a different racial being stronger since they can have it, too.

    Seems counter-intuitive on the original design of racials. It causes a lot of heated changes at higher level raiding and PvP; but what about everyone else? Granted there is a lot of merit to make it so racials are near useless in PvE / PvP (Minor minor boosts), but that leaves out another choice for a player. I'm for diversity in classes / races, but I suppose people favor illusion balance over it.

    Rebalancing racials will BOT rebalance factions... You need to force them into playing alliance again or recruitment reasons will not be overcome. Shifting the imbalance onto alliance side might help in terms of hoping that some good guilds stay horde / wait and you can rebalance or just drop racials to a later time completely.

    Voted for "leave them as they are" not because I think they are balanced but because this horrible poll only gives me options to buff alliance for some bizarre reason. Personally couldn't give two shits about what faction anyone apart from my mates play so - I kind of thought this thread was about racials not alliance.

    One of my post's ... always about the alliance. The idea behind the topic as you can read from the follow on posts was to change the alliance racials to make them more appleaing to guilds that were alliance and went horde due to recruitment / racials reasons.

    There is nothing wrong with the way racials work, there is something wrong with people who think that they will suddenly do much better if the switch faction. Why should Blizzard cater to a few top-end guilds who would chop off their own leg if it gave them an advantage?

    Speaking as someone in a high end alliance raiding guild, I'd be happy if they just removed combat racials. It's utterly stupid that horde guilds do more damage to beasts, for example. What purpose does that mechanic serve? Does it make the game more fun for people to do more damage to beasts? Does it make the story more compelling? There's just no reason for it and it causes a lot of issues among competitive guilds, and eventually other peripheral issues are caused by the racial imbalance via too many guilds paying to go horde and alliance guilds having a smaller recruiting pool etc.

    Racials should be either mirrored across the factions (ie if trolls do more damage to beasts, dwarves do more to beasts too, if worgen have a sprint and 1% crit, give the same to tauren or whatever and so on) or purely cosmetic or with minimal gameplay value.

    The game would be fine if all raiders were some faction that was neither. It's fine if they're all Horde and it's fine if they're Alliance too.

    And by "raiders" I mean those two-percenters who are all about doing what it is that the rest of the two-percenter herd is doing in order to allegedly (but not in reality) maximize DPS.

    If you're fighting a beast it does.

    People got their knickers in a twist because the cockblock in both normal and heroic is a beast. Until now no one gave a shit about +5% beast damage.

    If you want to play Alliance and have good racials, play Pandaren. Everyone has the option to have great racials but they want to have them in thir race. Well even in the Horde you have to be either an Orc or a Troll for good dps racials. They dont really matter that much and the reason why most raiders are Horde is because they all gravitated there for easier finding of raid groups. If you want to boost the Alliance raiding community you would have to move everyone over to Alliance and thats no better than it is now. Actually it would be worse since I play Horde and would rather see a racial for my BE hunter that will help my dps, you know, like a ranged weapon bonus since we were the actual archers and rangers in the RTS and Trolls threw things.

    ...if the end result is complete removal of racials why bother buffing one side over the other (resulting in both PVE and PVP benefits for one which would result in it being onesided in a different manner) when you can just remove the racials at the start and make it a matter of personal choice?
    ...at this point it's almost guaranteed that "war in warcraft" is garrosh getting on his incompetent podium to declare yet another group his enemy for the crime of breathing his air, alliance saying this is horde favoritism, and the more....special....yes.. let's go with special... horde players seeing garrosh as a god because he lets them attack the alliance players who keep saying that out being led by a moron is horde favoritism.

    I like this, honestly. I think the notion of PvP trinkets is a bit outdated. Giving all races a CC escape would be extremely agreeable to me. Giving all races the same initial baseline stats would be good as well since I'm pretty sure there are some people out there who would reroll for one or two stat points.

    All racials should be 'for flavour'. So, for example:

    Draenei - Gift of the Naaru (gains the Naaru mark above their head for 10 seconds, purely cosmetic), Gemcutting (remove bonus skill level, crafts Jewelcrafting items 50% faster)
    Dwarf - Stoneform (skin turns to stone for 10 seconds, purely cosmetic), Miners (Mines ore faster)
    Gnome - Engineering Specialist (remove bonus skill level, builds Engineering items 50% faster), Puntable (activitable skill, allows party or raid members to kick the gnome 10 yards)
    Human - Diplomacy (effects Alliance factions only), For The Alliance! (makes all party and raid members /cheer)
    Night Elf - Shadowmeld (Night Elves become transluctent during the night time while stationary, but not stealthed), Wisp Form
    Worgen - Flayer (remove bonus skill level), Two Forms (minor change - allow people to stay in whichever form they prefer)

    Pandaren - Epicurean (doubles length of food bonus), Inner Peace

    Blood Elf - Arcane Affinity (remove bonus skill level, enchants 50% faster), Arcane Hunger (regains mana 100% faster from drinking)
    Forsaken - Cannibalism, The Tireless Undead (gains rested bonus at double the rate)
    Goblin - Best Deals Anywhere (effects Horde factions only), Better Living Through Chemistry (remove bonus skill level, crafts alchemy 50% faster)
    Orc - Bloodrage (Orc's eyes glow red for 10 seconds, purely cosmetic), For The Horde! (makes all party and raid members /cheer)
    Tauren - Endurence (Tauren suffer from Resurrection Sickness for 25% less time), Cultivation (remove bonus skill level)
    Troll - Regeneration (doubles health regeneration out of combat, no in-combat regeneration), Da Voodoo Shuffle (may move while dancing, lasts 10 seconds)

    Giving strong racials and then taking them away is an awful idea. People who will race/faction swap for racials are the same people who pay for these services constantly and have plenty of mind to go right back when you take them away. I have a friend who race/name changes and server transfers on a whim. He's probably paid 700 or so dollars by now, no exaggeration.

    Want to do something unfair to encourage alliance numbers? Provide free account service swaps, but only if you go from horde to alliance.

    It's not a great idea, it's not stunning, it probably wouldn't do too much, but giving great imbalanced racials would work up until the point that you took them away. Also, are you joking? Like the playerbase wouldn't be PISSED about the entire thing. At least free transfers is straightforward and there's no lie behind it.

    What? How does it make the game more fun to have one race do 5% more damage to a certain boss? It just creates a pointless incentive to race/faction change. And Horridon isn't a "cockblock" on heroic, it's one of the easiest bosses, and this isn't a new issue. High ranking alliance guilds have been gradually going horde since early Cataclysm. It was definitely more egregious this tier because there were five beast bosses, but it's not new. People have given a shit about it for a long time, they just assumed that eventually Blizzard would adjust racials since it's been needed for such a long time.

    Remove racials and make all baseline stats the same, so people choose a race, because they like it, not because it provides the best increase to performance.
