    fancy gaming pc

Hey, i'd like to buy a computer in europe (i'm in France). Budget is around 8k euros so that's not an issue. I was first heading towards buying one from digitalstorm/originpc/falcown Northwest etc, but i've heard you can have bad surprises with taxes sometimes, paying well over 20% (vat is 19,4% if i import that to France), plus there is the whole guaranty issue, shipping back stuff would quickly be getting expensive.

In France we kinda got nothing, i can get this setup for 7k5 euros approx, and it feels like a ripoff :

    3xEVGA GeForce GTX TITAN - 6 Go 3 089,84 €
    Corsair Obsidian 900D 349,99 €
    Corsair AX1200i - 1200W 319,99 €
    LG GH24NS95 - OEM 16,89 €
    Materiel.net Montage 39,90 €
    3xCorsair AF120 High Performance - Dual pack 73,48 €
    Intel Core i7 3970X - Extreme Edition 989,99 €
Asus ROG - Rampage IV Extreme 424,99 €
    NZXT Sentry 2 Touch Screen1 34,99 €
    Corsair SP2500 214,90 €
Creative Sound Blaster Zxr PCIe 239,89 €
    NZXT KRAKEN X60 169,99 €
    Corsair Dominator Platinum 4 x 8 Go DDR3 PC17000 CAS 9 467,49 €
    Materiel.net Installation système 34,99 €
    Microsoft Windows 8 Professionnel 64 bits (oem) 149,99 €
    2xWestern Digital WD VelociRaptor SATA III 6 Gb/s raid 0 - 500 Go - 64 Mo 2 235,78 €
    Samsung Serie 840 Pro - 512 Go 1 439,89 €
    Samsung Serie 840 Pro - 128 Go

Anyone knows a company located in europe so i don't pay taxes where i could buy a solid pc ? With watercooling and stuff would be awsome. I'm fully aware i can get similar a similar gaming experience paying half the price, I just feel like doing it, please lets not discuss about weither its dumb or not.

    thanks !

    spoken like a true enthusiast

however, it does seem a bit much, that shares alot of components or parts with similar price points to mine, but my build is around $5-6k, i know prices in europe are higher than here, but it shouldn't be nearly twice as much

Your better off getting 3x 780 ACX which should be on pair or better than GTX Titan. I hope you are planning on getting a 1440p+ for that though, grossly useless and overkill for any less resolution.

Both overclocked they share similiar performance, the 780 are much cheaper though.

titans are better than 780s by about 10-15%, however when dealing with surround, quad titans are just enough to run 3x 30" screens, a single titan won't be enough, 4x 680s will be pushing it, you'll be lucky to get 30 FPS in crysis3

10-15 % ? The benchmarks I look up the stock are 5-7 % slower, with an aftermarket cooler the 780 beats it. There is no aftermarket cooler on the Titan (Yet).

the thing to keep in mind is that the titan is a hybrid workstation card, while the 780 is a gaming card, if you are going to use a program that relies on double floating point performance, than the titan is the better choice, otherwise the 780 is the card to get
