Like the saying says, "Power corrupts."

Arthas willingly chose to walk down that path, and when he took Frostmourne for himself his personality had already shifted forever. The sword didn't take possession of him, it was simply the final nail into the coffin of his good side.

Choosing to get corrupted to be more powerful is still being corrupted!

Look at James Bond movies: the evil villain finally has Bond in his clutches (or on his shiny metal table underneath the industrial laser) and what do they do? Simply shoot him? Well, no. They either resort to spectacularly complicated schemes to off him or they stop doing what they're doing to engage in a long soliloquy about all the terrible things they will do (and which provide an excellent opportunity for exposition) which always gives Bond the chance to be clever and get away.
Eldritch, unknowable ancient evils whose main plots to escape their imprisonment and conquer Azeroth revolve around corrupting key personnel to enact magical rituals... Apparently don't have a good HR department or talent scouts. I might stick with 'the writers are hacks'. There's a reason the hokey old Bond movies aren't considered the pinnacle of writing.

I mean, is Garrosh's ultimate move going to be putting the raid onto a platform which unnecessarily descends incredibly slowly into a tank full of ill-tempered, mutated sea bass?

Seriously, if he's looking for any weapon to absolutely crush the Alliance, the Val'kyr are right there.

If Garrosh is so adamant against dependence on or addiction to a source of power, why is he allowing his people to use magic at all, considering his race has almost first-hand experience to what happened to the Elves after they lost the Sunwell? This is more rhetorical than anything because "he is a blockhead" is a perfectly fine answer here but that really makes you wonder why Thrall gave him the keys to the Horde in the first place.
Garrosh isnt quiet the same person he was at the begning of cata where he lambasted the banshee queen. somewhere along the line he decided all the horde races but orcs were inferior and good for nothing but cannon fodder/distractions and stepping stones to reach the goals of the orcs, and since he ahs no respect for the races he prob no longer considers their weapons no matter how effective, worthy of the orcs. what led to these changes is unknown but at this point he was uncorrupted. or atleast not by sha/oldgod. as i said i suspect using demonic tusk as sholder pads and a throne of demonic bones cant be all to good for the mind.

Once he stepped foot on pandaria after the events of theramore. well all bets are off.

He was evil before he even came into contact with the Sha.

Up until 5.2, it was impossible to say he was corrupted. He had zero contact with the Sha, and the Sha is the sole source of any corruption that has taken hold of him. To say he isn't corrupted is wrong, because we really still do not know that yet. All we know is that everything pre-5.2 was his own doings, and anything past 5.2 is up for grabs.

And no, he wasn't affected by demonic influence. Anyone still saying that is stupid.

he aint corrupted, but he's becoming it.
thats a given considering he has a model where he got all sha on him.

but it seems that unlike other sha corrupted encounters we seen so far he chooses too become so.
or atleast he willingly is using the sha powers and with it the rish of becoming corrupted. this is shown in 5.1 already.

Cho'gall is a servant of the Old Gods.

Illidan has accepted demonic corruption into his body to make himself more powerful at least twice.

The Lich King is the spirit of a corrupted Orc warchief fused with the body of a corrupted human prince / paladin who was slowly driven insane through a combination of his own hubris and the whispering promise of a dark power that will save his people.

The Thunder King is the only answer here that fit in the not-corrupted spectrum, though even he has fallen from the favor of the Titans.
That doesn't make their choices invalid! It just shows that they wanted that "corruption". They chose the path of evil, all of them, of choas. You are trying to justify their actions as not their fault. They were not controlled, they CHOSE to be evil.

Which would be fine, if it were actually anunciated at some point in the plot, but it's not your job to fill in the plot holes that blizzard makes.

    Garrosh is Awesome!

I hope he is blessed by the Old Gods! At least they empower their champions!

No it's not. They are choosing a path in order to gain something they want. Corruption is a perversion of morality, not some mind control nonsense that most seem to see here. They chose a path that lead from one state, "purity" to another, "corrupt". From good to evil, from good to bad, etc... corruption IS the process of choosing evil over good. They can either go one way or the other, towards the light and order, or towards the darkness and chaos.

The Lich King, Illidan, Deathwing, Garrosh were all susceptible to corruption because they chose a less dignified path, not because the old gods mind controlled them. They were all susceptible to the whisperings of chaos BECAUSE of their actions, not in spite of them. Be very careful in trying to say that any individual is simply good if we get that corruption out. There are two different types of corruption here, what I am saying is that the path to evil is a perversion, a corruption of morality towards chaos and all the things that the old gods and the sha stand for, hence their names.

Here's Garrosh's character development for you.

BC - Moping around in the obscurity Outland. Boo hoo, daddy was an asshole.
Wrath - Joins Horde. Completely hates Alliance even though he's had almost virtually no interaction with them. RAWR ME SMASH ALLIANCE SCUM.
Cata - Thrall has to go all Green Jesus to save the world. Blizz realizes it would be stupid to have him be essentially neutral AND warchief, so they replace him with Garrosh, who actually shows some concern for honor and disgust toward unwarranted violence/Sylvanas raising the dead.
MOP - RAWR ME SMASH ALLIANCE pt. 2. Garrosh once again fucking hates the Alliance, even going so far as to murder a child in cold blood. Displays racism toward anything not green and ugly. Wants to conquer the world. Says 'fuck you' to the trolls and that he'll employ all kinds of sketchy shit to conquer the world for the Horde.

Nah, that's the story, bro. Inconsistencies and bad story telling both abound. And calling Garrosh a character...well, you may as well call Basic Campfire a character, too. At least a camp fire would show a little more consistency and burn the same color most of the time. The reason Garrosh is being killed off is because they know they made a short-sighted mistake in giving him control over the Horde.

Also, his death is meaningless. He's a disposable stand in for Thrall who got vtk'd by the dev team once he served his purpose. And lol @ Garrosh having the strength to dominate the Sha. Just lol. That's like giving a caveman a calculator and telling him to find square roots.

/clap. You managed to take everything and condense it to nonsense.

The definition of corruption works just fine for Garrosh. I could care less how you choose to define it, look it up. Garrosh choosing to take some supremely evil creature unto himself for additional power fits the definition.

There's a huge flaw in that theory. We engage and kill the Sha of Pride early into SoO. He's like the 4th boss in, when we're dealing with the aftermath of the devastation to the Vale.
