In theory, how strong is Disc Priest and Frost Mage in 2s?

How good of a comp is a Disc Priest and Frost Mage in 2v2 arena? Should they be able to progress very far? What comps are counters to them. What comps do they dominate at?

Very strong - capable of 2K+ with ease if you're decent.

Counters DKs very well as well as other melee. Hunters will annoy you and kick your arse most days.

You won't ever beat Disc/Hunter. Just won't happen. Fighting against Disc/Feral is pretty difficult too. Against both of those comps the opposing team literally needs to screw up multiple times in order to win.

That being said, lots of matchups are heavily in your favor. Problem is a fairly large portion of the higher rated teams are hunter/disc and feral/disc right now.

Just roll Disc/ ELE beats disc/xx with ease you can 2 shot fearls grounding totem frost traps. The pressure ele put out keeps you on the O only thing that gave us a problem was druid/lock playing at 2k

It's strong, but you're at a disadvantage vs 2 of the 3 god comps (Feral, Hunter / Disc) and the other one, DK, is still a huge pain in the butt as well.

No but seriously, disc/fmage has always been a great comp (except seasons where disc has been non-operational), works great right now in particular
