I return! All hail Commander Rainbow Dash of the first Cloudsdale Defensive Regiment!
Anyone here familiar with this microphone?
Reading kinda conflicted reviews about it.
Eh, I actually see the point on this one. Getting that buff required Raegwynn's guild's participation, including one run to P2 Sha of Fear, then a voluntary wipe so he could reset it to Normal. "Creative use of game mechanics," sure, but it's hard to call it a legit solo kill when the primary thing that allowed it to happen required a group.

I was just about to ask how he even did it, since far as I see it'd be damn impossible to do without some kind of shenanigans as of now.

I've been looking things up and a lot of people have said it's great, but it also apparently really is pretty sensitive, and I'd prefer not to have a mic that picks up air conditioning and such.

Noteworthy or not--and I'm not saying either way--he's posting and people are reading his posts, and if said posts offend too many people...that's when the flamewar starts. No, thank you.
I keep my trap shut and walk away when you guys start up the lewd stuff, and I know I'm not the only one who it annoys.
Not quite, I don't think. Fingers crossed.

Any soloer worth their salt will do whatever they can if they want to be the best (this applies to any field of anything, whatsoever, it's why I don't do competition stuff). Raegwynn clearly wants to be the best.
If someone wants to knock him down a peg, they better get into the Terrace and solo the Sha of Fear without the buff.
I've been simply having a discussion.

Nope, just relaying his message!
I was looking at it while searching for a new mic myself.

"~$10 Price Point
Zalman Clip-on Mic
If you're looking for a cheap solution to a microphone that clips onto a headphone like a headset's mic would, the Zalman-clip on mic is both cheap and useful. While it doesn't have the best mic quality and it's omni-directional and picks up a ton of background noise, it's worth a look into and the least recommendable mic at less than 8 dollars."
