She's not. I doubt she has anymore power than Rommath or Aethas.

Jaina's a main character. And main characters are always in the top tier at things they do.

She was apprenticed to Antonidas, most powerful member of the Kirin Tor and tutored by Magna Aegwynn, former Guardian and one of the most powerful mortal mages ever. With every other notable mage dead, it is quite reasonable to assume that Jaina is the most powerful mortal mage, unless you count Me'dan and I'd really rather not (Azshara is probably immortal and ofc on a different level entirely from Jaina).

Actually, at the end of the Throne of Thunder raid, she absorbs Lei Shen's power into her staff, making her have both her own formidable power and the power of Lei Shen. She also has the focusing iris, which can vaporize entire cities like what happened to Theramore. For the alliance and in terms of pure destructive force, Jaina is the most powerful.

Jaina is not the most powerful mortal mage, you seem to forget dragons are mortals as well, Jaina is without a doubt very powerful but hardly the strongest.

She wasn't part of the Kirin Tor at the time. They made her leader because of a prophecy Vereesa found and because of Aethas' supporting Jaina for the role.

It's a combination of training, experience and natural talent. Beyond that it's not just she is a powerful mage, but also wields great deal of political influence within the Alliance and beyond that she is also a respected figure in with some elements of the Horde.

Furthermore she inherited influence from previous associations with the Kingdom of Lordaeron, Arthas, Uther and even Kael'thas. And she isn't just all the above things, but also happens to belong to the ruling nobility of Kul Tiras. Add all these up and the character and the name are pretty heavy stuff.

I don't see why you should take the child from the woman unless she abuses it.

Eh, I'm not that surprised. Classic Garrosh.

"Sabotaged" and "focusing" leave very little room for interpretation... those aren't things one does coincidentally. It's very much in his character, the guy's definitely got spies if Thrall had them. I'd be surprised if it WAS a coincidence, because that seems far less likely.

actually sabotage is a term that can be brought on any action which damages a cause, action, or device enough to cause it to fail, commonly it's used to say someone ruined something whether intentional or otherwise. and again the fact that his most convenient resource on stealing the bell was a sunreaver would focus blame if they were caught, but it would serve garrosh better to not be caught in the first place since it would be more difficult for the alliance to know they have the bell or how they got it, meaning garrosh could then continue using his resource within dalaran.
...at this point it's almost guaranteed that "war in warcraft" is garrosh getting on his incompetent podium to declare yet another group his enemy for the crime of breathing his air, alliance saying this is horde favoritism, and the more....special....yes.. let's go with special... horde players seeing garrosh as a god because he lets them attack the alliance players who keep saying that out being led by a moron is horde favoritism.

This explains why he hates Garrosh. It also opens the door wide for BElf and HElf to reunite and become a neutral race down the line.

....how? highelves hate the bloodelves, bloodelves have had any attempts at diplomacy with highelves thrown in their face, and the only reason bloodelves were even looking at the alliance in the first place is garrosh's treatment of them...and he's about to die next patch.

Even if not caught, it'd be pretty obvious that the Bell was missing and that Garrosh took it. Garrosh leaving the Blood Elves holding the bag only helps him because it destroyed their ability to defect into the Alliance. If he didn't set them up, he'd still lose the Blood Elves in Dalaran when they defected.

If anything I think the purge of dalaran was a huge setback for any sort of blood elf/high elf reunion.

It wasn't the theft of the bell that caused the rift, it was Jaina going Nuts and dissolving the neutrality and taking it out on the belfs that did it. It was garrosh's treatment of the belfs during the searching for the bell that sent them sniffing at Wrynn. Put the blame where it is due, you should be thanking Garrosh and putting that crazy sow in dalaran down, seriously causes a rucus and goes joyriding in dalaran afterward, mature.

Makes me wonder whether Fanlyr screwed up on purpose though. He was the last person to leave Darnassus and was in charge of covering your tracks; he may have been told to let Jaina find that portal.
Makes sense. If the blood elves leave, so does a huge chunk of the Horde's magical artillery, most of their paladins (Sunwalkers are apparently still a bit of a cultural novelty in-lore), and an easy route to reinforce Forsaken holdings in northern Eastern Kingdoms. It also puts the Forsaken at risk of a hammer-and-anvil strike, gets the Alliance access to the Sunwell (imagine if that were weaponized), and it would have unified Dalaran as a nation with even more magically-inclined elves under its banner ready to lob artillery strikes at the Horde, rather than the recent cuts in membership due to batshit crazy leadership.

Because Garrosh has been sabatoging negotiations all along. I'm willing to bet that Garrosh is responsible for the Mana Bomb plot as well.

And its the easiest way to add playable high elves, because they wont need a new model.

Jaina went ballistic on the blood elves because Garrosh abused Dalaran's neutrality and portal networks to steal the bell. Neutrality is a funny thing--it relies on everyone else being smart enough to realize not to fuck with you and leave you alone, and Garrosh dropped the ball pretty hard there even after Jaina went out of her way to re-establish herself and the Kirin Tor as neutral to the faction war, using the high and blood elves' coexistence there as a proof of concept that Alliance and Horde could eventually bury the hatchet full-time.

I simply love how evil garrosh is, i mean how can you hate this guy ?
I really hope he will have pleasant suprise in org for us. Maybe skinned corpses of rebels/alliance soldiers impaled on spikes and hanging on hooks. +1 badassery if they are alive. So many cool possibilities.

    Yep.

And all those things are in the hand of a mentally unstable person, what could possibly go wrong?

Especially if you consider that she took the Power of a Titan which was used to enslave an entire continent, the end justifies the means after all.
