    New Gaming Build

Hello fellow MMO-ers. It is that time, and my deployment is drawing a near end in the next couple of weeks and I finally, after a year of waiting get to build my dream gaming pc. Just coming here for some opinions and what not

    Budget- 1,500 - 1,800USD.
    Resolution-1900x1200
Games/Settings: WoW, BF3/4, Most FPS. Really I would prefer to play any game I can on ULTRA, since I am steering away from console gaming.
Other Software: I do web programming, software programming, along with photo editing. Adobe Suite mainly.
Country: The sweet sweet US of A
Parts that can be reused: None, besides my keyboard and mouse I already own.
Do you need an OS: Yes, I believe I wanna go with W8 OEM
Peripherals: I do need a Monitor(I really like the U2412M)

I'm pretty sold on the 4670k, a 770 Nvidia card, the U2412M, and the Samsung 840 250GBSSD, I can't really decide on the rest. Thank you
    4670k @ 4.4GHz - MSI Z87 G45 - Silverstone AR03 - Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 OC - Antec 620W High Current Gamer

    16GB Crucial Ballistix 1600MHz - Samsung 840 250GB - 1TB WD Blue - ASUS VG248QE @ 144Hz - Fractal Design Define R4 - Windows 10 64-Bit - Logitech G-Pro
Razer Blackwidow Chroma - Steelseries QCK Heavy - Hyper X Cloud II

Good point, may not be an option for everyone if they don't have a store nearby.

The only thing I probably will change is the case. I really like the Fractal Design Define R4. Do you guys think the Arc Midi is better? Another question, is this cooler better than the 212 EVO? And how are peoples opinions on that motherboard and PSU? I appreciate it

Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 1600 Mhz C8 1.5V $30 for a 4GB stick with pretty LEDs. The link contains a video of the LEDs in action.

The Arc Midi R2 is being recommended because its currently on sale. If you like the Define R4 enough to pay ~$30 more, go for it.

Thank you, I won't be purchasing everything for a couple of weeks so sales now really don't mean much to me. I really like the R4 case, I've never really looked into the Silverstone cooler. I've always just heard to go with the Hyper Evo 212. I've also never really heard much about that PSU.. Would it be more wise of me to go with a Corsair PSU? Thanks guys!

Oh and PS: I know part picker links tons of different sites for the best prices. I have found the U2412M to be the best on Amazon so that isn't a problem... But is it wise to order from all different places due to shipping. I feel it would be best to just order everything from newegg. Just curious

The Antec PSU is good, it's modular and Seasonic OEM. Would be odd if recommended you "X" unit if I thought "Y" unit was better, wouldn't it? Here is a review of the PSU

I picked the Silverstone heatsink because Haswell runs hotter and I feel a little bit extra cooling performance is nice without going all out, you can change to the CM EVO if you need to save some money.

It's obviously easier if you can find all the components at 1-2 vendors and assuming you don't end up paying much more it might be prefered.
