I haven't had time to update my sample builds yet (haswell, 700-series from nVidia) but they are still decent guidelines. I'd recommend stopping by the sub-forum though and perhaps even make a thread there.

Agreed, sometimes it's better to make a post and have something tailor made for you. The sample builds are nice to get an idea, but prices change on an almost daily basis.
