My GTX 770's in SLI run cooler than my GTX 690 did. Huh?

Even if set to a thermal limit of 70c the fan would not be running quieter than his 690. It'd be going crazy trying to keep temps down and those are very loud when revved up to high RPMs.

Nah, it'd throttle the GPU core clock and voltage.

GTX 600's also do this if you set a thermal target for the framerate limiter in Nvidia Inspector. Ends up acting the same way lol
