Out of Box Haswell ready motherboard.

    Hello my MMO-Champions.

I'm looking to buy the new i7 4770k CPU from Intel, but i am kind of lost when i comes to Intel since i have mostly used AMD.
So to get to the point, i'm wondering if anybody can give me some names, maybe even links to motherboards, that is ready for the Haswells. I do not mind paying a few extra dollars for a motherboard that got the feature.

If you may want to ask why i do not find a motherboard and just update the BIOS, it's simply because i'm not good with updating the BIOS, the last motherboard i had, is not a paper weight.

Also, when i go and look on CPU support on various manufacturers sites, it gives me a version, for example
    http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-GD65-GAMING.html - Support > CPU Support
    or
    http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87PLUS/#support_CPU

Where you can clearly see that there only is one version out on the "Since BIOS" panel. Does this mean it have to be updated to that BIOS or is it the BIOS that comes on the board when shipped?

Thank you for your time. Also... When it comes to money, i am looking at something like the Z87+ price range, and not something like the G1.Sniper.

Similarly priced to the one you were looking for, and probably the one i'd go for

However, at a pinch, I'm a massive fan of the sabertooth series: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-...dport-hdmi-atx

Those boards are brand new and have a new socket. And on that socket only haswell fits.
So they will work out of the box, without a bios update.

That's what I meant. Those BIOS versions are installed on the initial release of the motherboard.

what about this? http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-G45-GAMING.html almost same if you don't need to charge your mobile, it will be approx 50$ less (at least in eshops in my country)

Also i7 is imo a bit overkill, i5 will do same job for gaming.

Thank you for the help all, i decided to buy the Z87-G45

About why i am buying one of the biggest i7 CPU's is because i want something that can last a while and that got a nice kick to it.

+ atm i got the AMD Phenom II x4 955, so it will be a HUGE increase from the current, one i would like to feel after a while of slow CPU.

i5 4670K will be just as fast if all you are doing is gaming, for 100 dollars less.
