Voljin is forced on us in the very same manner, but hes less whiny and stuck up.

The two likely candidates are Voljin and Saurfang, Voljin more so. Unlikely is Lorthemar. Another likely scenario is a "War Council," Like the Dwarves have.
Garrosh had his own novel? I can't remember a novel named ''Garrosh: Warchief of the Horde'' or something similar.

All indicators point heavily to Vol'jin, and that's almost enough to make me want to faction change. A primative coward and traitor who can't even speak properly shouldn't be a Warchief, and he's never displayed any real signs of leadership. I doubt they even bother trying to hide it. I mean let's be serious, they told us who the final boss of the expansion was going to be before it even released. This isn't the expansion for unexpected twists. But regardless, here's to hoping it's not Vol'jin.

I doubt we'll see Saurfang present, he really isn't involved in this story arc.

He got mentioned in the voice files by Eitrigg.

Eitrigg himself said Thrall and Saurfang have headed down into Garrosh's underground base.

Where did you hear those sound files? I must have missed them!

I hope for Lorthemar to be warchief. I do think they might wait for 5.5 to do so. I mean how would this work? As soon as there is a first kill of Garrosh, they'll just remove all of the angry orcs from org? I mean.. without doing that, the new orcish leader won't have a place to rule. There are obviously ways they can fix this, but I think they might just want to wait for a patch. I hope we get a glimpse during he end cinematic.

Really? I must have missed that soundfile. My bad! Apologies. Certainly Saurfang being present is awesome.

Wild guess: none will become a new warchief and horde will go into democracy! ...and from that REAL problems will start:
-immigrant alliance living on welfare, not working just producing kids
-orcish womans will demand "equal" rights and will refuse having having more than one if any kid
-male blood elves will demand "equal" rights and will "educate" 2y old orcish babies (well, or any they will find- specially male ones) how to make "safe" and "free" love
-peons will form great many amount of unions all striking for random reasons demanding "equal" rights (and salary)
-bureaucracy will be so big that none will be able to do anything without government agreement, not even boy a new mount or armor that doesn't have all certificates not to mention build a house
    -horde will drown in debts
-horde citizens will demand more and more socialism
    -socialism will turn into communism
-horde flag will change to plain red or red with yellow sickle and hammer

Then alliance will come, finish off remaining trash.

My guess is that question may be answered in the post garrosh kill cutscene, which likely won't be released until the actual patch goes live, and perhaps not until a little after that. ( I don't think the DS one was in right at launch either, wasn't it put in a mini patch? I could be wrong.)

theres a reason they've not released Thrall, Saurfang, Varian and Vol'jins files yet.

I'm not sure that has to do with the new warchief though. Could be a coincidence we don't have them yet, as blizz doesn't seem too particularly worried about people data mining this stuff.

Here's how it will go,garrosh will die in 5.4 then in 5.5 after some kind of event you will get a cinematic where this happens.

Thrall "I now bestow upon you the mantle of Warchief, rise now......."

"SARGERAS HAS RETURNED,KNEEL BEFORE YOU MASTER WHELPS"

    The End

    Fin

Council is a bad idea, I think. Both a Doylist and Watsonian bad idea.

Is it still too late to hope for Rexxar to show up? He's been name checked once or twice, hasn't he, in Chen/Vol'jin quest text?

Also of note if you check the MMO Champion front page you will notice Garrosh's shoulders is the lootable option,so im guessing he gets vaporized!

It's possible he'll still show up, afterall we didn't think that Saurfang, Eitrigg or Aysa were in until this last build, but I wouldn't hold my breath on him having a role more important than the one that say Eitrigg or Moira have in their voice overs.

Also, on the lines of them withholding audio to avoid spoilers, I think if they WERE doing that we wouldn't have Garrosh's audio just yet either.
