The Trial of the Crusader tier in Wotlk was worse by far.

Yeah. Especially the alliance sets were just awful. Not only slightly awful, but horrifically awful.
And, even more important: There was no transmog back then.

Mage T11 was horrible.

I think it's very decent in my personal opinion really fits the theme of cataclysm elemental planes stuff.

That set is a good example of a good concept poorly executed, the head and the shoulders have a very low polygon count, and the texture design is all over the place.

The helm doesn't fit mages at all, the rest of the pieces was ok. The purple version never even existed.
