xfx 6870 fan

Awhile back my radeon 6870 stock fan stopped working, so i had to buy an aftermarket cooler, it can either run on 7 or 12v, and unfortunately i broke the 12v adapter, so now im going back found of a replacement fan, but the holes dont line up, screws arent the right size, long story short, would super glue on the end of the fan bracket hold it down, or melt away from the gpu heat.

Fairly sure glue is a pretty bad idea.
