Harvest Moon is a 10-man Alliance 'casualcore' raiding guild on Ghostlands (PvE). We're well-established on the Alliance side with many veteran Vanilla and TBC players. We're currently recruiting:
Ranged DPS (no preference)
However, even if your class isn't listed, we will always consider strong applicants, especially if you have a viable offspec.
We currently raid on Thursdays and Sundays - 9pm-11.30pm (EU Server Time).
Current progress: 16/16 T14, 12/12 T15.
Our aim is to find players who, like us, have several responsibilities outside the game but who are passionate about raiding and want to progress efficiently and effectively through the current raid content. We have a small, tight-knit roster with a crew of friendly individuals. Our guild vision is to have fun raiding whilst still maintaining a successful, progressive and focused environment during those raids. We want our raiders to enjoy themselves and not feel like playing is a second job, but equally we want to ensure that our limited raid time is spent being effective, rather than joking around and wiping all night. We're not recruiting people whose only job is to warm the bench for us, so if your application is successful, you'll be considered as an equal when it comes to raid spots.
We ask the following of our members:
* Arrive prepared for raids with potions, flasks, food, gemmed and enchanted gear and an understanding of the appropriate boss tactics.
* Learn from your mistakes. We're not the kind of guild that will shout at you for causing a wipe; we encourage creative play and trying different tactics. You too should be willing and able to learn, adapt, and not make the same mistake often.
* Raiding experience should be at a high level. Our typical players are former-hardcore raiders who want a less intensive raid schedule. If you don't have a lot of previous experience, that's fine, but we will expect you to be on top of your game.
* Attitude is important. We have a lot of social members. It's important to us that you get along well with our members, whether they are raiders or not. Somebody who only logs on to raid is not someone we're typically looking for.
* English fluency is required, and not just within a chat box. We use Mumble, and whilst talking isn't mandatory, it's certainly a huge plus in your favour if you're happy using a microphone.
* Sensible, mature attitude. We are perfectly happy to sort out any problems and are keen to look after you and make sure your needs are met, but we aren't that keen to listen to loot drama or !#$%iness about other players. Our loot method is Suicide Kings and trials are equally as entitled to loot as full raiders. Additionally, we tend to recruit people who are aged 18+, but we are willing to make the odd exception for the right person.
* Wipes happen and they're important for learning. You'll be able to give wipe nights your full attention and enthusiasm, and won't mysteriously disappear due to 'computer troubles' or your dog being on fire.
