Is it silly to be moved so deeply by a cartoon?

Some cartoons do have a lot of feels in them, like from Disney, Pixar's Wall-E.

If you're talking spongebob, or anime, then thats a bit silly. But some people like that kind of stuff.

I don't think it's strange at all. Opening up emotionally to another person leaves you vulnerable. Your movies/shows will never 'stab you in the back' because they are just stories.
