Well maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but it did take us by surprise. So my 3 year old and I like to go "exploring" in the game and since he likes water we went to vashj'ir and we were just swimming around when this sweet little thing sneaked up behind us:



I never went really far into vashj'ir so I was unaware this monster existed reminded me of the one in northrend.

While we were at it we saw some really jaw dropping gorgeous scenery some of the best I've ever seen in the game. Made me want to go back and actually finish questing in this zone.

Lol same thing happened to us just a few minutes earlier with a big ass snake I forgot its name. I thought we could easily kill it with my big bad 90 and we got one shotted. Needless to say when we found this monster we didn't try anything silly.

And yes,Vashj'ir ir a fantastic area,i really hope they will add more underwater zones in the future.Easily the best area in Cataclysm.

go to north western pandaria around kunlai and townlong and the waters are filled with giant octopi (like the large one in vashjir in the quests and dungeon ) and krakens.
